Library Information & Management at McGill in QS Rankings Global Top 10

For the second year in a row, the School of Information Studies’ Library Information & Management course rates in the Top 10, in sixth place this year, up from eighth place in 2023.

"The School of Information Studies offers a dynamic range of programs and courses within the rapidly evolving and ever expanding field of information studies," says Professor Joan Bartlett, Director of the School of Information Studies. "These fall within the broad perspective of human information interaction (HII) – the interaction of people with information, mediated and facilitated by technology."

The School's Master's of Information Studies (MISt), is an ALA-accredited professional degree providing the professional framework for work as an information professional, which can be personalized to support a range of interests, including librarianship, archival studies, knowledge management, data science, and user-experience design.

The School of Information studies also offers a range of graduate certificates, such as Digital Archives Management, Information Architecture, Knowledge Management and Library Information Studies. Its most recent offering is the cutting edge Online Graduate Certificate in Cybersecurity.
