Sports & Recreation

The McGill Athletics & Recreation Centre is located on Campus and offers many sports activities. Students from the department participate in soccer and hockey tournaments. Mount Royal, located next to McGill, is criss-crossed by many gravel roads and small paths that allow for a quick jogging in the forest over lunch or at any other time.

Biological and Biomedical Engineering Student Society (BBMESS) is a part of PGSS and organizes academic and social events for our students.

SKILLSETS

The SKILLSETS website invites graduate students to participate in an award-winning suite of over 200 workshops on professional development and extra-curricular skills, including teaching competence, research management, and life skills.

Supervision

The Supervision website offers over 40 pages of research-based practical advice and guidance on the supervisory relationship so that common problems in supervision can be avoided and degrees can be completed without needless delays.

Graphos

Graphos teaches graduate students and postdocs how to become accomplished scholarly communicators.  Graphos workshops tackle key writing topics in an accessible, hands-on format.
