Reporting to the Academic Director, the incumbent will provide administrative support to help spearhead this new master’s level program, Masters of Management in Analytics (MMA). The program will be in its initial stages, therefore, the successful candidate will need to be quite familiar with the University setting, and program processes such as registration and admissions. As well, the candidate should have some marketing experience.
- Is responsible for informing and advising prospective applicants; establishing and maintaining an admissions process consistent with McGill's policies, databases, deadlines and software systems; clarifying to senior administrators the program's unique recruitment and admissions strategies; liaising with the university on entry and documentary requirements; working closely with the Faculty's communications team to execute a plan to increase visibility of the program.
- Serves as the primary resource person for students, from first contact to graduation; managing course scheduling and set-up, registration; performs degree audit; administering student awards; advocating for the program with Enrolment Services, Student Accounts, and Graduate Studies; mediating between students and the university.
Finance and Budgeting:
- Manage the program’s accounts liaising with the FST team as appropriate; Work with the Academic Director to determine event budget and manage expenses for that budget; Prepare contracts for the program’s instructors; Manage payment of invoices related to the program.
- Work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to help market and organize information and recruitment sessions (local, online and global); support the development of, and optimize marketing materials (brochures, fact sheets, presentations, website, social media, emails, etc.); Purchase databases. Assist in implementing and delivering email campaigns; manage the flow of information and communication and disseminate it according to plan/strategy; Help develop marketing communications campaigns; Create and distribute surveys.

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities:
A self-starter with student affairs and admissions experience. Team player with a strong sense of commitment and dedication to collaborate with the communications team members and other Faculty stakeholders. Excellent organizational and communications skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to prioritize and manage several deadlines at once. Knowledge of UApply and marketing experience are definite assets. Demonstrated ability to use the Microsoft Office suite, i.e. word processing, excel, database, and Minerva. English (spoken and written) French (spoken).
