Meet the ECC team!

Julie Godin
Industry Liaison Manager

Julie Godin joined the McGill Engineering Career Centre - ECC in 2010. She oversees all ECC activities while actively taking part in various roles including career advising and industry outreach.

Julie holds a Bachelor degree in Engineering Physics and possesses 10 years of experience in the telecommunication industry. She is always thrilled to share her industry knowledge with the students as well as to connect them with professional engineers.

 

 

Debra Hamel
Internship Advisor

Debra Hamel has worked in the McGill Engineering Career Centre since 2000. She is responsible for all aspects of the Engineering Internship Program, including working with students and liaising with industry. She is available every day to meet with students to discuss any questions or concerns they may have about their search for an engineering internship position.   

 

 

 

Maureen Huddleson
Recruitment, Events, Communications Manager

Maureen joined the McGill Engineering Career Centre in August 2007 and is enjoying every moment of her work with external employers and students. Prior to that, she worked at the John Molson School of Business in the Career Centre. 

She enjoys swimming, biking, and travelling.

 

 

 

Benjamin Isaac, MFA
Industry Liaison Associate/Career Advisor

Benjamin Isaac has worked at McGill University since 2004, encompassing a wide variety of roles ranging from Academic Advisor to Administrative Coordinator to Program Manager. After joining the Engineering Career Centre in February 2016, Benjamin actively incorporates new technologies, media and innovative solutions to promote career development initiatives with industry professionals, engineering students and student groups to further enhance their experience at the Faculty of Engineering.

Benjamin holds a Masters of Fine Arts in Film Production and Production Management from Miami International University, and enjoys travelling, film, cooking and sports.

 

Eranthi Swaminathan, MA
Industry Liaison Associate/Career Advisor

Eranthi Swaminathan moved from Toronto to Montreal to pursue graduate studies at McGill. Following that, she has worked in career and professional development since 2015, and was thrilled to join the Engineering Career Centre in June 2017, where she works to create new industry partnerships, enhance career development for Engineering students, and promote diversity and equity at the Faculty of Engineering.   

Eranthi holds a Masters of English Literature from McGill, and enjoys books, music, travel, and cooking.

 

 

Lorraine Donald, MSc
Industry Liaison Associate/Career Advisor

Lorraine Donald is a native Montrealer and recently joined the Engineering Career Centre Team in July 2017 after completing a Masters of Science in Geography from Concordia. Building off her studies in Urban Planning & Human Geography and her involvement in student/community advocacy, Lorraine is excited to pursue her new role at McGill, where she will be involved in career advising and industry outreach for the Faculty of Engineering.

Lorraine enjoys boxing, cooking, all things related to maps, and the social organization of cities and labour.
