Call for Applications: 2017 Duncan Pedersen Graduate Award

The McGill Global Mental Health Program is pleased to announce that it is accepting  applications for the 2017 Duncan Pedersen Graduate Award. This annual award in honor of Dr. Pedersen's work and leadership in building the McGill Global Mental Health Program is given to an outstanding graduate student whose work advances the Global Mental Health research agenda at McGill.

Value of the award: $ 3000 (towards fieldwork expenses, dissertation write-up funding, conference fees, and travel to present results)

Eligibility: 

  • McGill graduate students from all Global Mental Health relevant disciplines
  • Candidates whose work reflects Dr. Pedersen’s commitment to social justice, health equity, and community-based mental health care, and aligns with the broader mandate of McGill’s Global Mental Health Program
