Communicating Science and Equity: A Facilitated Discussion Surrounding Pushback For McGill Students

This session for students will give participants an opportunity to reflect on the culture behind the discipline of science. Participants will be encouraged to connect equity and inclusion to their own work in science outreach and science communication. 
 

Examining common pushback scenarios, as well as key strategies in countering pushback, participants will have the chance to share their experiences and explore methods for self-care. This event is open to McGill students and a McGill email address is required to register.
