The Heart and Stroke Foundation | Grants-in-Aid Program

Terry Hébert: Chair of the H&S Review Panel IVb and member of the Executive Scientific Review Committee

The HSF Grant-in-Aid (GIA) Program provides operating funds to support important, pertinent, novel research in the areas of heart disease and stroke.

Research is supported across the four health research themes:

  1. Basic biomedical
  2. Clinical
  3. Health services/systems
  4. Social, Cultural, Environmental and Population Health

 

Researchers who are planning to apply to the upcoming HSF Grants-in-Aid 2018/2019 Program (deadline August 31st 2017) are encouraged to attend this information session.

Overview:

  • Brief presentation about the objectives and requirements of the HSF Program presented by Rina Cohen, Grants Officer.
  • Presentations for Best Practices for a sound grant application.
  • Q & A Period. Participants will be encouraged to raise any questions they may have about the Program and its application process. Those who are unable to attend are invited to send their inquiries to Rina Cohen in advance so that they may be included in the session.
