Oral PhD defense for Hao Zhang

Hao Zhang is a PhD candidate in the Department of Family Medicine at McGill University. She holds an MSc. in Biostatistics and a B.A. in Psychology from McGill University. Her research work focuses primarily on Bayesian questionnaire validation and biostatistics methods development. Hao’s work has improved the use of expert input through prior elicitation from stakeholders in primary care and performing Bayesian confirmatory factor analysis. Hao has been able to extend the simulation to questionnaire validation of the McGill Empowerment Assessment–Diabetes (MEA-D) questionnaire.
