A strain of Phaeodactylum tricornutum (CPCC 162) was cultured to determine its performance and ability to withstand pollution with heavy metals (i.e. Ag, Mo, V). Treatments to simulate heavy metal pollution in water were performed at four levels each based on predicted maximum concentrations...
