Solutions to Lighten the Mental Load (Virtual)

Tuesday, May 16, 2023 12:00to13:30
QC, CA

Offered by the Health and Well-Being Program

This session will be recorded.

The Health and Well-Being Program is thrilled to present a two-part series on "Solutions to Lighten the Mental Load" with Jen Swartley, a professional coach and Fair Play Facilitator who is dedicated to helping individuals achieve a more balanced and fulfilling life.

In this first session, Jen will share practical tips for reducing stress and overwhelm related to managing household and family responsibilities. One of the solutions she will cover is the Fair Play method, a structured system that promotes transparency and accountability in domestic labor. Jen will guide you through the system and provide strategies for initiating a constructive conversation with your partner about shared responsibilities.

Moreover, you will gain insights into how to shift from a reactive lifestyle shaped by external demands to one that prioritizes your own goals and aspirations. This shift requires self-reflection, boundary-setting, and a belief in the value of your time.

Join us for this transformative workshop that will leave you feeling lighter and more supported in managing the mental load of home and family.

Registration closes on May 16 at 9 am and the link to the session will be sent afterwards. The second session will be in September.
