Workshop: Introduction to the data science life cycle (in Python)

Monday, February 19, 2024 10:00to12:00

Workshop Overview: This workshop presents an overview of the data science life cycle using the programming language Python, and using the environment Jupyter Notebooks. Using a simple data set, the instructor will walk participants through the different steps of the data science life cycle (e.g., manipulation, plotting, communication, code version control), presenting relevant python packages and representative commands for each step.

This tutorial is designed to help the learner prepare for the larger set of CDSI training offerings on the various specific stages of the data science life cycle.
