2018-2019 Stipend for Intensive Courses on Federalism

The Peter MacKell Chair on Federalism is pleased to introduce a new stipend, aimed at financially supporting a McGill Faculty of Law student wishing to participate in one of the following programs:

Maximum allowance

$ 2,000 CND (to cover registration, travel and accommodation costs).

Application procedure

Interested students must apply to these institutions by following the rules set out for the two programs. Kindly inform Prof. Johanne Poirier that your application has been filed, by sending a message at: johanne.poirier3 [at] mcgill.ca, with "MACKELL Grant / Stipend" in the subject line.

Students who are invited to the program may then apply for the stipend by sending a letter and proof of acceptance to Prof. Poirier at the above email address.

Admissibility

Students having obtained their degrees at the Law Faculty in December 2018 may apply for the February 2019 EURAC Winter School. Otherwise, the stipend is reserved for BCL/LLB, LLM or DCL students currently registered that the Faculty of Law. 

If several students within the Faculty are accepted by one of these programs, a selection process may be used to allocate the stipend. The stipend may be split up, to allow several students to participate.
