Business leaders still need to have a strategic vision, but they also need to demonstrate compassion, empathy, and vulnerability on behalf of their company – all qualities that have historically been concealed to entrench a leader’s authority.

CEOs now work at the intersection of operations and competing corporate development trends. Corporate values have become integral to company prosperity, but the charisma of individual leadership remains critical. Maintaining a balance between them demands a flexible skill set.
