Professor Tabrizian named Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada

Professor Maryam Tabrizian has been inducted as a Fellow with the Royal Society of Canada. The Society announced the induction of 89 new Fellows today, each one elected by their peers in recognition of outstanding scholarly, scientific and artistic achievement. Election to the Royal Society of Canada is the highest honour a scholar can achieve.

“I feel deeply honoured to have been chosen as a Fellow of Royal Society of Canada and very thankful to be a part of a Society that recognises the achievement of hundreds of esteemed citizens,” said Professor Tabrizian. “I am hugely appreciative for the support of the Faculty of Dentistry and the Faculty of Medicine as well as my referees through the nomination process. This honour will play a pivotal role in further strengthening my research and launching new work that inspires me.”
