This conference is aimed at mental health professionals who are interested in the difficulties associated with cognitive disorders at different ages and the most frequent psychiatric disorders such as attention deficit disorder, dementia and psychotic disorders.  Speakers will present the neurobiological and clinical components of these issues.
 
TARGET AUDIENCE: Psychiatrists, general practitioners, students, researchers, residents, pharmacists, and health professionals who treat psychiatric disorders.
 
OBJECTIVES:
• Become familiar with new treatments for cognitive disorders associated with psychiatric disorders
• Understand the impact of cognitive deficiencies in psychiatric disorders
• Learn to use pharmacological and/or psychological treatments
 
The activity will be accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, the Quebec Federation of General Practitioners and the Quebec Order of Psychologists.
