EARTH DAY @ Museum: Toby and the Toads
You're never too young (or old) for natural history! An appreciation of nature can be nurtured from an early age. To celebrate Earth Day, come and learn the secrets to being a naturalist and hear one young naturalist's account of unusual behaviour in a tropical toad. Afterwards, join us as we explore nature right outside our door.
At this event you can also learn about the Canadian Wildlife Federation's Wild Family Nature Club program and how you can start up your own club and receive a free CWF backpack full of activity cards and gear. Online registration required.
Ages 5 and up (there is a talk of 30 minutes). Parents and children join in the fun together. Talk in English; questions and outdoor activities in English and French. Event starts in the Redpath Museum Auditorium.
