Professor Herschel Edward Reilley (1879-1945) taught in McGill’s Physics Department, pioneered the study of noise pollution, and was Chairman of the Noise Abatement Committee of the City Improvement League.
Professor Jarrett Rudy is President of the James McGill Society, and teaches Quebec social history in McGill’s Department. of History and Classical Studies. Among his publications is: The Freedom to Smoke: Tobacco Consumption and Identity (McGill-Queen’s Press).
