Dying at a Distance

Our community includes many newcomers who often have left families, friends and other loved ones behind. End-of-life issues become particularly challenging when compounded by long geographic distances and/or time distances. Several members of the School of Continuing Studies will share their own experiences as immigrants and professionals and having to balance family and work across long distances.
