McGill Library & Archives awards the inaugural Computational Research Fellowship to Rajat Bhateja

McGill University Library and Archives is delighted to announce the recipient of the inaugural Computational Research Fellowship.

Rajat Bhateja is a second-year Masters of Information Studies student in the School of Information Studies, Faculty of Arts. His research proposal, Semantic, Context Analysis and Visualization of McGill Theses Data Using Word2vec will use the full-text and metadata of over 40 000 theses in the McGill eScholarship collection to “to find the current and past literary meanings of concepts allowing researchers and students of McGill to observe and describe changing social conventions”.
