We are conducting a study to examine preparedness and the factors that influence practice choices of early career family physicians in their first five years. Understanding these factors is critical for the CFPC as we begin to better advocate to governments using evidence to support our family physicians.

Chatline is a student-run online extension of McGill Students’ Nightline. It is a confidential, anonymous, and non-judgmental instant messaging service. Chatters will be connected to one of our volunteers through an anonymous platform. Our volunteers are trained in empathetic active listening, and can also provide information, referrals, and non-professional guidance during a crisis.

The Undergraduate Medical Education Office is inviting applications for the position of Professionalism Advisor (PA).  The specific responsibilities of the PA are to receive, review, and act upon reports of alleged exemplary and/or suboptimal professional behaviours by students registered in the MDCM program (or related joint programs), as described in the UGME Policy on Student Professionalism Behaviours and the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences Code of Conduct.  The Professionalism Advisor will serve both Campuses. S/he is selected and reports to the Associate Dean UGME.
