MUSE 1.O is an introductory course to ultrasound with a focus on lots of image generation and probe time as well as an approach to the presenting problem.

The primary care clinician is faced with a wide variety of clinical scenarios for which bedside ultrasound can assist in diagnoses, therapeutics, management, procedures, and ultimately, improved patient outcomes. This course aims to improve the bedside ultrasound skills of primary care providers through a unique modular, problem-based approach.

The MUSE 2.0 Advanced Point-of-Care Ultrasound Course is a two-day scanning workshop for clinicians motivated to improve their ultrasound skills and to acquire supervised scans for certification. The MUSE 2.0 course provides an excellent complement to the MUSE 1.0 introductory Point-of-Care Ultrasound Course.

Please note: Participants must have previously completed an introductory course in bedside ultrasound (8 hour minimum).

The course consists of pre and post course tests, lectures, case presentations and practical experience.  Only physicians are eligible for ATLS certification.  The courses are limited to 24 participants.
