A centralized core facility including optical microscopy and robotics/automation

The Cell Imaging and Analysis Network (CIAN) is a resource for life sciences researchers from within and outside the McGill research community. CIAN has been an institution for over 10 years and has always prided itself on helping researchers obtain reliably quantitative data for their projects, beginning with guidance in sample preparation, to data acquisition, and then analyses for publications. Researchers can obtain training in any aspect of CIAN and are encouraged to work autonomously. Diverse Platforms for Every Research Need

CIAN hosts an array of microscopy platforms from widefield, confocal, and super-resolution to complex techniques like FRAP, FRET, and more.
