Biography

Benjamin Eisenstat has been a lecturer in Risk Management at McGill's School of Continuing Studies since 1980.

He is a graduate of Concordia University and went on to become an Associate by examination of the Insurance Institute of Canada (AIIC), an Associate in Risk Management by examination of the Insurance Institute of America (ARM), and attained his Canadian Risk Management Diploma (CRM) from the Insurance Institute of Canada, as well as his Province of Quebec Associate Insurance Broker (AIB) designation.

Professionally, he was a past President of both the Quebec Risk and Insurance Management Association and the Canadian Association of Risk Managers. He rose to the level of Sernior Vice President at Marsh Canada Limited, an international provider of insurance brokerage and risk management support services.

He is the recipient of the Don Stuart Award, a national designation which continues to be presented annually by the Canadian Risk Management Chapters’ Committee for achievements in Risk Management within Canada.
