Biography

Béatrice G. Pepper has an extensive background in public relations as a consultant and as manager for corporate and government organizations. During her career, she has led a variety of communications initiatives such as an employee communication program following a take-over and a major national public hearing, as well as national and international media relations strategies. Her experience covers primarily the airline business, tourism, telecommunications and engineering. Ms. Pepper has sat on the National Board of the Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS) since 2004 and has participated in the Society’s Accreditation Program for more than 10 years. She has also served on the Board of CPRS’ local member society, la Société des relationnistes du Québec, for a number of years, culminating in 1986 when she was elected President. She has volunteered with many not-for-profit organizations supporting the arts and children’s causes. She has a bachelor’s degree in public relations and Spanish from Université Laval.
