Biography

Melina Tondino is a human resources professional with over 15 years of experience. She has held senior roles in human resources in both the private and public sectors, including Piron Ward Consulting, Canadian National Railway, and McGill University. She has expertise across all functional areas, including talent management, organizational development, leadership development, recruitment and selection, training, and employee relations.

Tondino’s priority is to ensure that HR maintains a strategic focus supporting the business objectives of the organization. She helps her clients reinforce the value that human capital can bring to an organization through the design, implementation and evaluation of numerous programs and initiatives that enhance the HR portfolio.

Tondino holds an MBA in global strategy and leadership and a bachelor in psychology, both from McGill University. She is also a member of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés (CRHA/CHRP), and was the 2007 recipient of the Prix d’Excellence en ressources humaines, having received the highest provincial score on the National Knowledge Exam.
