Women Make an Impact at McGill and Beyond

Published: 8 March 2018

Thursday, March 8 commemorates International Women's Day 2018. McGill University celebrated the event by recognizing the incredible accomplishments of women who are currently working and studying at the university, as well as the accomplishments of McGill alumnae.

Dr. Shaheen Shariff, Principal Investigator of the Define the Line and IMPACTS Projects and Professor in the Department of Integrated Studies in Education (DISE), makes an appearance in McGill's official photo mural for International Women's Day, as you can see below. Congratulations to Dr. Shariff for her outstanding research contributions, for her leadership on the Define the Line and IMPACTS Projects, and for being named James McGill Professor!

Visit the McGill Reporter website for a summary of some of the many accomplishments from women associated with McGill who are working hard every day to make a difference locally, provincially, nationally, and internationally.
