Update on transition to eSpace

The project to replace the space management functions of FAMIS, "eSpace", is making great strides.

We are happy to announce that more than 98% of all building information (approx. 914,335 m2) is now available in the new platform. In addition, almost 50% of the plan archives (over 6,000 documents) were transferred from Meridian and Unifier and are available in the Plan Room module. These archives consist of the mechanical, electrical, architectural, and structural plans that have been issued for construction or “as built” as part of projects.

The general users' training as well as the system administrators’ training for the first go-live have been completed and we are completing the training for the users responsible for integrating the architectural plans. Lastly, we will be able to perform the UAT (User Acceptance Tests) very soon. These tests aim to ensure the functionalities requested from the vendor are present and functional.

We expect to make the platform available to a select group of users in early October. These users will be tasked with validating the building information as well as the archived plans added to the platform throughout the summer.

We plan to open the platform to Building Directors as well as select groups of users from various departments, including FMAS, by the end of 2022.
