Humanistic Studies

Program Retirement

The Humanistic Studies program is currently in transition. The current program has been "retired" effective winter 2010.

Current students will be permitted to finish their program requirements but no new students will be permitted to declare Humanistic Studies after the fall 2009 term.

Important Note

It is the student's responsibility to meet all Faculty requirements in addition to those of the Major/Minor Concentrations. The Arts and Science section of the McGill Calendar should be consulted for full descriptions of the courses listed in this web site. Not all courses listed are available in any given semester or year, and students should consult Minerva as to time and availability. You are also urged to ask your adviser about any aspect of your degree requirements if they are unclear to you.

If you are currently registered in the program:
Please note that HMST 296 and HMST 297 will no longer be offered after 2009-2010. Please consult with the program adviser if you have not taken one or both courses.
