Do you have what it takes to become an International Student Leader?

Are you an international undergrad who loves to get involved and take initiative? Passionate about international issues on McGill's campus?

"The ISLP program was a highlight and milestone of my university life: It sharpened my leadership skills and gave me an opportunity to meet so many talented and motivated young leaders." - Jeffrey Wu, McGill Class of 2016 (See more successful stories here.)

Check back mid-February 2017 to learn about applying for the 2017-2018 academic year

What are the requirements?

  • The program requires a commitment of 5-8 hours per week, from late August to the beginning of April.
  • There will also be a mandatory 2-day training/team-building session the second-to-last week of August.
  • Weekly meetings will be on Monday evenings from 5:45 - 6:45pm, so you would need to be available on Mondays at that time.

There will be weekly Leadership Program meetings, and Dine & Learns with guest speakers. The program wraps up at the end of the academic year.

Who can apply?

The ISL team will consist of a group of returning International Student Leaders and a group of new Junior International Student Leaders. Students will be selected from a range of different Faculties, programs, and backgrounds. To apply, you must:
