McLennan Reading Room closed for renovations from July 10-31

Published: 5 July 2017

From Monday July 10 to Monday July 31, the McLennan reading room/reference area on the main floor and south side of the McLennan Library Building (overlooking Sherbrooke and McTavish Streets) will be temporarily closed for renovations. The existing carpet will be replaced with new flooring. This area, including computer stations and McLennan e-Classroom will be closed to the public. Materials from the Print Reference Collection and selected periodicals and newspapers can be requested at the Information Desk located in the McLennan lobby during service hours.

During this construction period, Library users are asked to use alternative study spaces within the McLennan-Redpath Complex including: the upper floors of McLennan, the Redpath main floor, the Cyberthèque (a quiet study area with plenty of computers on the ground floor of Redpath), or try the light filled Blackader-Lauterman study area on the 3rd floor of the Redpath Library Building.

Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
