Doctoral Recital: Christopher Keach, trumpet

Christopher Keach (he/him) is a Montreal-based professional musician, educator, and researcher. He is currently pursuing his DMus degree in Trumpet Performance at McGill University, where he received his MMus in Trumpet Performance. Christopher also holds a B.M. in Trumpet Performance and Bachelor's of Music Education from The Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam. He has performed with the Segal Centre Theatre organization, the Palm Beach Opera Orchestra, the Orchestra of Northern New York, in the New Works Recital at the 2023 International Trumpet Guild (ITG) Conference, and opened for the Nakariakov-Kashimoto-Meerovich trio. His research focuses on practice techniques and their effect on long-term retention and memory.
