One of the Signature projects of the McGill Bicentennial office is to celebrate and recognize the contributions of staff (academic and faculty) of the University, past and present.

As part of the Bicentennial Celebrations, staff and faculty members were asked to nominate the Unsung Heroes in their department — the less-recognized faculty and staff who have shaped the community and made a lasting impact.

The Schulich School of Music is proud to see Jennifer Stephenson, Timetable & Scheduling for the Departments of Music Research and Performance, recognized as an Unsung Hero of McGill. Having worked at McGill since 1983, her valuable contributions continue to better the lives of students, faculty, and staff alike. She has been the public face of the School to thousands of applicants to the programs, dealing with inquiries with unfailing grace and compassion. She sorts out the specific requirements for auditions, recitals, and juries, responding to the diverse needs of faculty and students every day. We applaud her nomination and join in celebrating her accomplishments.
