Translating knowledge of neural circuits development, function and dysfunction into improved health care
The Neuro Retreat 2017 will be held on 27-29 October 2017 at Hotel du Lac Carling Resort, in Grenville-sur-la-Rouge, Quebec.
The main goal of this year’s Retreat will be to offer a collegial and interactive forum to discuss together how to position The Neuro to be a leader in the translation of knowledge derived from our research activities into 1) improved understanding of neurological conditions, 2) better patient care, and 3) enhanced health practices.
The Neuro Retreat 2017 will provide the opportunity to discuss together a number of topics at the core of our integrated research and clinical programs. An exciting list of Neuro colleagues and invited speakers, including clinicians, geneticists, cell and developmental biologists, and neuroimagers will discuss how to address the goal to understand the causes, treatment and societal impact of neurological disorders caused by genetic and environmental perturbations of normal brain wiring.
The Neuro Retreat 2017 program will also include group activities and other events that will promote synergistic interactions among members of the diverse professional groups that make up The Neuro.
