From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.

Imaging and Molecular Biology Platform

Services:

images and molecular biology platformThe Platform is part of the Green Chemistry CFI initiative and a centralized resource for microscopy and molecular biology equipment. The platform provides instruments, training and assistance to internal and external researchers. Microscopy services range from confocal/multiphoton and high content microscopy to epifluorescence day to day microscopes and analysis softwares. Histological equipment and automated slide staining is also available. Molecular applications cover quantitative (qPCR) and qualitative (Bioanalyzer) sample analysis.
