Residence Life Managers

The role of the Residence Life Manager (RLM) is to create and sustain a sense of community in their hall(s), while maintaining the safety and comfort of everyone who lives there. RLMs primarily supervise their hall’s team of Floor Fellows, in addition to acting as a Disciplinary Officer of the University/Student Residences when required, and serving as a general resource for the staff and students in their residence hall(s).

As professionals with experience in the fields of residence life, student affairs and other post-secondary professions, RLMs provide regular educational programming, training and development opportunities for Floor Fellows. They also serve as an early alert system for emotional, academic and mental health issues among students, and provide crisis management when appropriate.
