Overview
This minor is for Bachelor of Music students who want to learn how to manage a professional career in the creative arts. You will take courses at the Desautels Faculty of Management, the Schulich School of Music and the Faculty of Science, with a focus on:
- Conceptualizing, developing and managing new professional ventures.
- Managing your career as a performer, music teacher or arts administrator.
- Marketing, fundraising, publicizing, and financing fundamentals.
The program will help you to develop practical professional skills to your Music degree. These kinds of skills can make it easier to navigate the ever-evolving music industry upon graduation.
