From Saturday, Oct. 5 through Monday, Oct. 7, the Downtown and Macdonald Campuses will be open only to McGill students, employees and essential visitors. Many classes will be held online. Remote work required where possible. See Campus Public Safety website for details.


Du samedi 5 octobre au lundi 7 octobre, le campus du centre-ville et le campus Macdonald ne seront accessibles qu’aux étudiants et aux membres du personnel de l’Université McGill, ainsi qu’aux visiteurs essentiels. 46 OFNIE Graduates in Summer 2024 Convocation

McGill's Faculty of Education and the Office of First Nations and Inuit Education (OFNIE) had a total of 46 graduates (16 deferred from Summer 2023 and 30 in 2023-2024) participate in the Summer 2024 convocation in the following programs:

  • 16 Graduates deferred from Summer 2023
  • 1 Certificate in Aboriginal Literacy in Education from (Cree School Board)
  • 15 Certificates in Education for First Nations and Inuit (Cree School Board)


30 Graduates in 2023-2024:

  • 10 Certificates in Education for First Nations and Inuit (eight from the Cree School Board and two from Kativik Ilisarniliriniq)
  • 11 Bachelors of Education K/Elem- First Nations and Inuit Studies (One from the Kahnawà:ke Education Center and ten from the Cree School Board)
  • 9 Master of Arts in Education and Society (Listiguj Education, Training and Employment)
