Media@McGill is one of the sponsors of The Centennial Flight. Co-presented by Atelier Céladon and articule, The Centennial Flight 百年翔 is a site-specific public screening on Friday, August 25, 2017 at 8 PM, at Place Sun Yat-Sen in Montreal's Chinatown. The event focuses on histories of struggle in the Chinese-Canadian context, and features documentary film Tyrus (dir. Pamela Tom, 2017), which recounts the story of Tyrus Wong, Guangzhou-born visual artist, navigating racial bigotry in 20th-century America.
