Mirra-Margarita Ianeva

Currently enrolled in the Master’s program in Art History, Mirra-Margarita Ianeva holds a B.A. and a first M.A. in philosophy. Her research in philosophy focused on the epistemology of art critical judgment and the ontology of the work of art, with a special focus on conceptual art (1960-1970). Supervised by Prof. Christine Ross and supported by a Joseph-Armand Bombardier CGS Master's Scholarship, her current research centers on the affective and bodily dimensions of vision as they are articulated in post-phenomenological theories of perception and actualized in, as well as problematized through, new media and performance art.
