Inaugural Symposium on Black Transnational Perspectives in Social Work in collaboration with Howard University

This landmark event promises to be an enlightening and impactful gathering that will foster necessary discussions, build bridges, and contribute to the advancement of social work.

The event is taking place on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at La Citadelle, located on the 3rd floor of 410 Sherbrooke West.

The delegation from Howard University comprises Dr. Cudore L. Snell, Dr. Sandra Kalu, Dr. JaNeen Cross, Dr. Tracy R. Whitaker, Yaniqe Williams-Adeniji & Dwayne James.

Black Student Opportunities Annual Event 

The Black Student Opportunities Annual Event is an opportunity to hear from and celebrate the achievements of McGill’s Black students who have participated in various academic and experiential learning programs. From community internships to summer research opportunities and awards, the diverse experience that the students share will inspire the next cohort of applicants, while the cocktail reception will allow for links to be built.

We hope you can join us in this exicting evening highlighting the outstanding opportunities available to our University’s Black student community.
