Student Rights & Responsibilities

Handbook of Student Rights & Responsibilities (Green Book)

The Dean of Students is the advocate for the quality of student life on campus, and oversees the Handbook of Student Rights and Responsibilities (the “Green Book”) published annually and updated as needed on the web at either of the following two websites:

Students Rights & Responsibilities (Dean of Students' website)
- Code of Student Conduct and Disciplinary Procedures (Secretariat's website)

The Green Book includes:

  • the Charter of Student Rights and Responsibilities
  • the Code of Student Conduct and Disciplinary Procedures
  • several other policies, e.g., harassment, grievances, library and computer use.

This document is important for faculty members since it covers such matters as cheating and plagiarism (which should be reported to the Associate Dean (Student Affairs) of your Faculty and never resolved locally), and course outlines (which students must receive at the first class).
