Public Transit

Montreal's public transit system is expansive and iconic. The metro (subway) has a network of four underground lines that primarily serve the core of the city and four light rail trains to suburbs on and off the Island. There is also bus service, including an airport shuttle that services downtown, and paratransit services. For information on routes, schedules, and fares, please visit the STM website.

McGillians can get an annual membership discount on the BIXI bike-share program.
