Dr. Pollak's Assay Laboratory
Dr. Pollak’s assay laboratory is located at the Lady Davis Institute for Medical Research at the Jewish General Hospital, which is affiliated with McGill University and located in Montreal, Canada. We specialize in hormone and peptide biomarker measurements of serum or plasma samples for biomedical research. We have more than 15 years of experience providing assay services to a variety of users. We have carried out small and large scale projects. Many of our collaborators are in the academic community worldwide but we also work with pharmaceutical companies.
Over the past 15 years, we have increased our throughput capacity and our number of collaborators and now are pleased to offer our resources and expertise to the scientific community. We take special care to optimize quality control and to minimize the sample volume needed for assays.
As of 2024, work by the Assay Lab contributed to more than 175 publications in the scientific literature that have been cited more than 6,700 times.
