Student societies

The student societies organize many activities and offer the chance to get involved in the McGill Community. Post-graduate student society (PGSS) represents all graduate students in McGill University. Our student organization,

Biological and Biomedical Engineering Student Society (BBMESS) is a part of PGSS and organizes academic and social events for our students.

Student services

McGill offers a wide range of services for students including:  career planning services, chaplaincy services, counselling, mental health, student health, tutorials and support for students with disabilities.

Sports

The McGill Athletics & Recreation facilities are located on campus and offer many sports activities. BBME students participate in soccer and hockey tournaments. Mount Royal, located next to McGill, is criss-crossed by many gravel roads and small paths that allow for a quick jog in the forest over lunch or at any other time.
