The McConnell Brain Imaging Centre is a large research and service enterprise. Governance is organized through scientific committees for each core facility and the BIC Council, which consists of all core faculty members and nominated and elected representatives of Principal Investigators from the BIC user base, staff and trainees.
Scientific Committees
Any study requesting data collection at the BIC needs to be reviewed and approved by one of scientific committees. This is also a prerequisite before obtaining ethics approval. To access guidelines and requirements for each scientific committee, follow the links below:

BIC Council
The BIC Council discusses current affairs, governance, and development at the BIC. Meetings are held every first Friday of the month.
