Technical Services Building

The Technical Services Building provides students with a machine shop that operates in support of teaching, research and research contracts. All standard shop manufacturing techniques can be utilized on wood, metals, plastics, and other materials. The shop has machine lathes of different sizes, large drill presses, milling machine, sheet metal machines, wood working equipment, extensive welding (electric, gas, etc.) capabilities, etc. The shop is also home to labs and student workspaces. We have also recently expanded to include a modern AV experiential learning area.

Please contact our Shop Coordinator, William Boyd Dumais for any questions relating to the shop.
