Allison Christians is Associate Dean (Research) and the H. Heward Stikeman Chair in the Law of Taxation at the McGill University Faculty of Law. Her research and teaching focus on national and international tax law and policy issues, with emphasis on the relationship between taxation and Before entering academia, she practiced tax law at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz in New York, where she focused on the taxation of domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, restructurings and associated issues and transactions involving private and public companies, She taught at the University of Wisconsin Law School and Northwestern University School of Law before joining the Faculty of Law at McGill University in 2012. |

Professor Khoury is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of law, an associate member of the Institute for Health & Social Policy and an elected associate member of the International Academy of Comparative Law. She was the Associate Dean (Research) of the Faculty of Law from 2015 to 2017. She is the author of "Uncertain Causation in Medical Liability" (Hart Publishing, Oxford and Yvon Blais, Cowansville) which received the 2004 Prix Minerve and the 2008 Quebec Bar Foundation Prize. Associate Professor Alana Klein teaches and researches in health law, criminal law, and human rights. The position of marginalized groups and individuals in decentralized and privatized systems and the role of accountability requirements in governance and decision-making are primary Prior to joining the Faculty, she was a senior policy analyst with the Canadian HIV/AIDS Legal Network, where she worked on HIV/AIDS and immigration, legal and other barriers to harm-reduction programs for people who use illegal drugs, and law reform to promote the rights of women She has taught at Columbia Law School and Columbia University and has interned with the International Refugee Program at the Lawyers Committee for Human Rights (now Human Rights First) and with the Palestinian Ministry of Economy and Trade.
