Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) is used to perform initial analysis of your data in order to 'get a feel' for the variables involved and whether your data entails certain patterns.

At the end of this workshop, you will be able to
     > use different visualization tools to analyze distributions and correlations
     > know and apply different ways to treat missing data
     > apply classification and standardization methods

Prerequisites:
      · Introductory knowledge of R, e.g. from McGill's R summer camp, or from our Introduction to programming with R workshop.
      · You need to bring your own laptop for this workshop. Install R and RStudio on your computer. You can find installation instructions here. Please contact us (cdsi.science at mcgill.ca) if you are having trouble with installation.

[Contact us if you would like to attend but it's impossible for you to bring a laptop to this workshop].
