Vivre tous ensemble

Project description

CIRM supported Savoir Média and Eurêka! Productions in the making of short videos that relate the journey of immigrants based in Montréal and elsewhere in Québec. This original web series offers an authentic foray into the heart of the immigrant experience, told by those who have chosen the province as a home or who grew up there.

Along a tour that they have mapped out, participants share their daily lives and feelings between their cultures of origin and their host culture, between displacement and discovery. These testimonies are accompanied by the perspectives of university researchers whose work focuses on each of the featured cultural communities.
