Bronfman Building 1001 rue Sherbrooke Ouest, Montreal, QC, H3A 1G5, CA

Exploring the impacts and opportunities of sustainability in business.

The Desautels Business Conference on Sustainability (DBCS) targets some of the brightest students from universities across North America to gather a multilateral perspective on issues related to sustainability. While most delegates are in management programs, students from other fields of study such as engineering, science, arts, and environment also attend. The conference invites leading experts from corporations, non-governmental organizations and academia to speak to students and provide them with the tools and knowledge they need to help ensure a sustainable future.

As the theme “from Threat to Opportunity” suggests, the conference will probe and explore promising solutions tackling some of the most complex challenges of the century. Taking an interdisciplinary approach, it will cover a multitude of topics such as impact investing, AI, CleanTech, social entrepreneurship, and many more!

For this edition, we will be bringing to you 30 passionate leaders EXCLUSIVELY from Montreal and Quebec to illustrate the endless opportunities and potential this city and this region have to offer.

Desautels Sustainability Network

The DSN seeks to promote sustainability as a profitable opportunity for businesses. Through various events, we aim to break silos between faculties, connecting Montreal’s professional community with students and raising students’ voice to improve the Bachelor of Commerce.

The DSN is proud to reimplement the Desautels Business Conference on Sustainability after a two-year hiatus. Created in 2003, DBCS is Montreal’s largest student-led conference on the impacts of sustainability within the private sector.
